Hey friends! June has arrived, and summer is heating up! We're diving into the season with some poolside events you won’t want to miss—get ready for sunshine & good vibes at ALX this month.
The community's annual fire alarm inspection will take place on Wednesday, June 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Entry into all units is required for the inspection & the fire alarm will sound during this time. For further questions, you may contact our community office at alx@northcoastliving.com. We thank you for your cooperation!

Quartyard Event Space
Quartyard in Downtown San Diego's East Village is an event venue and urban park made from repurposed shipping containers. It features an eatery, a beer garden, an event space, an art area, and a coffee shop. The goal is to transform vacant land into a lively community space. Operating five days a week, Quartyard hosts a variety of cultural events, concerts, private functions, markets, and community activities. Its sustainable design provides guests with a unique outdoor experience.

Chiefy
Meet Chiefy — a 5-year-old COVID pup with a big heart and even bigger dreams. He runs Chiefy Cafe, a cozy downtown spot serving the best coffee, snacks, and treats for pets and their humans. Chiefy also started Brewhound Coffee, where every purchase helps support animals in local shelters — because giving back is part of the job! When he’s not at work, you’ll find Chiefy at the park or dog beach (he’s still a little unsure about those big waves!). He loves chasing birds, finding snacks, and saying hi to everyone downtown. At the end of the day, Chiefy cuddles up with his favorite lamb toy and relaxes with some Netflix and chill—he’s earned it!
