The Big Bay Boom

Get ready for San Diego’s biggest Independence Day celebration—The Big Bay Boom! Taking place on July 4th at 9 PM, this stunning fireworks show lights up the sky over San Diego Bay with fireworks launched from four barges around the waterfront, including Shelter Island, Harbor Island, the Embarcadero, and Coronado. It’s free to the public and draws crowds from all over, so be sure to arrive early or plan using public transit or a rideshare service. Tune in to 91X FM for the synchronized music and enjoy one of the best fireworks displays in the country!

Meet Wyndham (aka Mr. Wyn or Winnie), our charming ALX Pet of the month! Wyn is a Tabby cat with a front-row seat to the world! You’ll often find him perched up high, keeping a watchful eye as people pass by—he’s quite the neighborhood observer. Lately, Mr. Winn has discovered a new favorite hobby: going on walks with his mom and making new friends along the way! With his curious spirit and friendly purr-sonality, Winnie is always ready for his next little adventure in East Village!
